When
American Airlines needed an online branding campaign for "More Room"
(AA removed rows of seats throughout coach to give their passengers more
leg room), we presented an approach that showed visually what more room
"feels" like. What we did was create a superstitial/interstitial
(a pop-up online commercial), complete with audio, that showed the plane
"stretching" – with the voice over narration of "No,
we didn't make our planes bigger. We just gave you more room throughout
coach. This was the very first time that AA ever approved a campaign that
"messed" with their planes visually. This multiple
award-winning campaign was a huge success for AA receiving over 35
million click-throughs – AND effected the offline creative allowing
them to "rock" the plane when legs were crossed t.v. spot. Work
performed for Temerlin McClain. |
