This
was the first direct mail piece following the merger of GTE, Bell Atlantic
and 3 other companies. The piece was to go to customers who had signed up
for DSL but had not yet installed the internet software. We created this
"Now you can do your own thing" campaign to create excitement
and a call to action to start using the service. The package included an
installation CD, installation instructions, as well as a color-coding system
unique to each of the merging companies as a visual aid in identifying the
different customers in their distribution warehouses. The campaign brought
over 1.4 million new customers online for the first time. Work performed
