dial-up prevented you from using the phone at the same time you're online.
What we wanted to do was create the message that you may be missing important
calls while you're phone is unconnected. Other creative included "That
company called with a job offer...but you were busy downloading applications"
and "That girl you met on the beach called...but you were busy surfing
the web". The campaigned explained that with DSL, this no longer has
to happen – you can now use one phone line to do both – and
a "free activation and your first month free" as the call to action
to get customers to switch. Work performed for Temerlin
