Remember when you had to have two separate lines to use the Internet – one for your phone and one for your computer? Or if you had one phone line and you had to unplug your Internet connection to use the phone? That all changed with DSL – in which the phone communication would use the low-frequency capability on the phone line, while the Internet communication utilized the high-frequency. So when GTE needed to lauch their DSL internet services – we made the message clear and simple: Surf. Talk. One Phone Line. This campaign creative ran on direct mail postcards and print ads.
