There's fast, and then there's real fast. Our approach to this branding campaign for GTE's DSL service was to show the difference. Boy with fins is fast...but the shark? We'll you know what happens next. Boy on a mechanical horse...a professional race horse. A kitty cat can be fast...but a cheetah? No comparison. This campaign, running in print and direct mail, increased general awareness of DSL capabilities and its speed – and brought in over 43,000 new customers over from regular dial up connections.
