to this branding campaign for GTE's DSL service was to show the difference.
Boy with fins is fast...but the shark? We'll you know what happens next.
Boy on a mechanical horse...a professional race horse. A kitty cat can be
fast...but a cheetah? No comparison. This campaign, running in print and
direct mail, increased general awareness of DSL capabilities and its speed
– and brought in over 43,000 new customers over from regular dial
