The expression comes through French, from Italian voltafaccia and Portuguese volte face, composed of volta (turn) and faccia (face). Smart details are always a surprise in this collection. Fabienne-Coudray Meisel has always had a bassion for "That Which is Beautiful". SO once her studies and her experience as an optician tought her a taste for those miraculous little objects, so simple and yet so complex that one places between oneself and the world, Fabiennes craving for th ebeautiful finally took over. She designs, produces and distributes her first collection, in Paris, in 1997. She now lauches 4 new collections every year - now THAT is beautiful.
